This paper presents a nondestructive, rapid, and low-cost soil allocation method using topsoil spectral characteristics to allocate soil at the level of soil great group within Genetic Soil Classification of China.

We conducted One-way ANOVA to analyse whether mean AGB among soil types and land allocation zones, among different altitudinal ranges, and between burned and unburned areas was significantly different.
Strong positive relationships were found between aboveground biomass and the tested variables; altitude, slope, land allocation zoning, soil type, and distance to the nearest fire, road, river and city.
