The Columbia University Kermit Project website and software archive are frozen effective 1 October 2011, but remain available as a public resource.
As noted, all the text files, including source code, documentation, utilities, and so on, are in the kermit/b directory of the Kermit software archive, all sharing the filename prefix "k11".
The new k95source directory in the Kermit software archive now contains the Columbia-written source files for Kermit 95 2.1.3, released 1 January 2003, with updates by Jeffrey Altman through 2007, which are listed HERE.
This was replaced a few years later by the use of Java, whereby the necessary software archive (.jar) is downloaded automatically when the data-object is loaded.
