The collective evidence from studies that have used direct or indirect approaches to estimate smoker misclassification shows that although some misclassification of ever smokers as never smokers exists in studies of ETS and lung cancer, the potential bias from the misclassification of smokers is unlikely to explain the observed increased risk of lung cancer associated with ETS exposure.
While time-series measurements of flow have been obtained in low-temperature vents [4], [5], and point measurements have been obtained in black smokers [6], [7], no time-series measurements of black smoker flow exist.
Nor do smokers and smoking exist in a vacuum.
This is understandable because quantifying heritability in natural fish populations can be challenging (e.g. Kuparinen and Merilä 2007; Heino et al. 2008), though successful examples do exist (Smoker et al. 1994; Hard et al. 1999; DiBattista et al. in press), and the same difficulties has also been considered to apply for quantifying selection (Heino and Godø 2002; Haugen and Vøllestad 2001).
We hypothesised that differences in the impact of GHWL exist between non-smokers, smokers and patients with COPD, with decreased efficacy in those groups who are longer and more frequently exposed to them.

The importance of income suggests that as long as a discrepancy in the excise tax on FM and fine-cut tobacco exists, smokers may compensate for price increases by shifting from FM to RYO instead of quitting [ 1].
