That sustained anoxic condition enhanced denitrification and methanogenesis, resulting in large emissions of N2O and CH4 but smaller emissions of CO2. Figure 1d shows the decreasing trend of CO2 emission flux for the moist/compacted manure 200 h after watering, whereas the emission fluxes of CH4 (Fig. 1e) and N2O (Fig. 1f) increased during the same time period.
b) Area and other emissions sources were "sources that generally have smaller emissions on an individual basis than 'major sources' and are often too small or ubiquitous in nature to be inventoried as individual sources"; this may include smaller facilities (e.g., dry cleaning facilities, gas station/automobile repair) or other sources such as wildfires.
Per capita emissions in China would converge with the G8 around 2030, while India's per capita emissions would not converge until around 2050, owing to its much lower per capita emissions today and projections of smaller emission growth rate and continued increase in population through 2050.
Clearly, in Figure 3, we can see that due to heating, PL spectra of Si NPs move towards smaller emission energy.
On the other hand, the elongation of the p-conjugation length by the installed 2-methylenemalononitrile group (o-2 and p-2) induces further π-electron delocalization, and thus a smaller emission energy gap.
When the EDC NPs are excited by near-IR (λ = 780 nm) photons, visible emission is observed at two regions in the visible wavelength range; the primary emission is between 520 to 560 nm and a much smaller emission is found at 660 to 680 nm, as shown in Figure 4b.
As mentioned in Fig. 4, the PL signals in the black curve with smaller emission wavelengths than the (7,5) species (i.e. with dt < 0.8 nm) are barely distinguishable against the background although being already amplified by a factor of 50.
Public Health England has concluded that the small emissions from fracking pose little risk of harm.
In 1991 and 2007, there were small emissions of volcanic ash (micro-eruptions) from a fumarole in Hatchotarumi (Fig. 1), which is also one of the 1979 eruption vents (e.g., JMA 1991; Nakamichi et al. 2009).
For N2O, the smallest emissions were as indicated in Table 6 and Figure 1(a); WFPS at < 80% and the smallest NO3− addition (25 kg ha−1) were the dominant factors and levels.
For the evaluation of the mercury concentration of the content of a herbarium box at different ventilation rates a small emission chamber was used.
