Still, taking into account the multiple possibilities (for instance, physical activity would be split in four groups depending on baseline and follow-up status) would considerably complicate the model and increase the risk of small sized groups, leading to nonsignificant associations due to large confidence intervals of the estimators.
Due to the limited amount of patients, the initial study investigated a small-sized group without performing statistical analysis for comparison among conventional and 3D printed casts.
After excluding microcalcifications smaller than 2 micro-CT voxels and grouping the remaining calcifications according to volume, as described above, 73.8% of the calcifications in the small-sized group were in samples from patients with malignant lesions, while 59.3% of those in the large-sized group were in samples from patients with malignant lesions.
As mentioned above, this was not statistically significant due to small-sized groups.
In dogs, dofetilide is also able to trigger ventricular arrhythmias, but not in all animals, making it more difficult to obtain valid statistical comparisons from small-sized groups.
However, mustached tamarins increased total vigilance due to horizontal scanning in cases A and C, and the predictions were confirmed only in small-sized groups in case B. At K = 4 the group of black and brown small sized poodles is further subdivided and medium sized form a separate group from miniature and toy.
Because the study group was small, two equally sized groups were preferable for statistical comparisons.
