In Fig. 5 e) for Δl = 5, the power is dominantly coupled in higher-order modes only, producing the smallest pulse width and achieving the lowest BER value of 3.54 × 10−17.

Aerojet utilized innovative design solutions to develop an RCE that can ignite reliably over a broad range of inlet temperatures, perform short minimum impulse bits (MIB) at small electrical pulse widths (EPW), and produce excellent specific impulse (Isp) across a range of engine mixture ratios (MR).
Figure 4a depicts sample coupled ESWs and isolated ESWs, wherein the interval between the two spiked pulses marked by the dashed ellipse is considerably smaller than the pulse width of the isolated ESW pulse.
The background light illumination was set using a LOT Oriel LS0106 solar simulator with an AM 1.5-G filter, and light intensity was adjusted using appropriate neutral density filters; a 532-nm CryLaS (Berlin, Germany) FTSS 355 50 laser at a frequency of 18 Hz with an intensity of approximately 7 mW cm−2 was used to cause the small perturbations (1-ns pulse width) in the cells.
We observed the growth of individual and multiple nanotips from relatively small single droplets at shorter pulse width; whereas when the pulse width was increased, the nanotips grew mainly from the film of the molten target material and the large deposited droplets of molten material.
