Local legend has it that Cistercian monks started growing grapes on that slender chain of hills in the 11th century, traveling among the four côtes, or slopes, mixing the sandy soil with water, and sipping it to taste the differences in terroir.
The initial slope of the mix range essentially depends on the "height -parameter αc and theight -parameterratio of the specific binding constants (see Eqs. (13) and (4)).
Moreover, for several antigen-antibody combinations, the multiple slopes observed indicate a mix of antibody species with distinct binding avidities (an example is shown in Fig. 6).
The mixing line slope is not significantly affected by uncertainties in cosmic ray exposure ages [ Nyquist et al., 2001; Schwenzer et al., 2007].
Harvesting costs per unit volume for similar sized trees are typically higher in partial harvesting operations, especially on steep slopes and in mixed-species stands when different species have to be sorted and marketed separately (Pausch 2005).
In general, farmed and wild salmon displayed similar growth reaction norm slopes between the mixed-strain treatment and the single-strain treatment, only differing in elevation (Table 3; Figure 4; Additional file 5).
