Indeed, siRNA mediated depletion of Sox10 resulted in a significant up-regulation of Twist2, but in no or only a slight regulation of epithelial-specific TFs (Figure 13D), indicating that Sox10 probably has a function in dampening EMT progression in G-2 cells via repression of Twist2.
