One of the quieter departures from the norm has been orchestrated by Ben Kaufmann, a young Berlin dealer who is presenting a slide show of exhibitions by the 15 artists he represents.

"When I saw the slides for the art exhibition about two years ago, because they were Impressionistic, it was hard to see exactly what the dresses looked like," Ms. Krute said.
Through Oct. 31, "Take Me Out to the Ball Game: 100 Years of Music, Musicians and the National Pastime," an exhibition of slides, photographs, sheet music and recordings that focus on baseball's influence on composers like Irving Berlin, Charles Ives, William Schuman and George M. Cohan.
