Single-shot echo planar imaging DTI was acquired using a twice refocused spin echo sequence (Reese et al., 2003) with the following sequence parameters: TR/TE = 8400/82 ms; b = 700 s/mm; NEX = 1; 10 T2 images acquired with b = 0; 72 diffusion directions; 128 × 128 matrix; 2 × 2 mm in-plane resolution; 64 axial oblique (AC-PC) slices; 2 mm (0 mm gap) slice thickness; scan duration 12′44".
In practical applications, the remaining requests can be placed after the last occupied time slice, because the duration of the request placed in the knapsack is the longest, and the total duration of remaining requests is minimized as well as the request sequence is processed in the shortest amount of time.
In the Costas frequency coding scheme, the columns represent M contiguous time slices (each of duration t b ) and the rows represent M distinct frequencies, equally spaced by Δ f 0.
