Data from a cross-sectional, postnatal ontogenetic series of skulls (with age, sex and population group known from existing medical records) were taken (number of specimens per age class: neonate 1 year = 18; 2–10 years = 12; 11 16 years = 18; 17 20 years = 23; 21 24 years = 30; 25 30 years = 20).
