This keynote included a commitment by CRI to bring together companies in the private sector for a series of roundtable workshops on empowering women through bringing them into the global supply chain; providing education and skills training, access to finance, and access to markets; and nurturing women as global business leaders.
The interventions will include but not limited to investment in education, skills training, access to information technology, menstrual hygiene management, HIV education and reproductive health services.

Development programmes, technical skills training and access to mentoring and networking, for example, can help women feel prepared to return to the workplace and also link them with peers in similar situations.
Toward that end, I am grateful that my hometown of Nashville, Tennessee, recently announced the creation of a Human Trafficking Court, the goals of which are to identify victims of human trafficking and assist them by providing drug or mental health treatment, job and life skills training, or access to housing.
These efforts must include investment in education, skills training and access to information technology.
The initiative to ensure pregnant and recently pregnant girls can continue with their education also includes skills training and access to information technology.
Services include both primary and women's health care, comprehensive HIV care, adult education, business skills and training, access to information and computers, gender violence support, sanitation, and clean water.
As a roadmap to that peace, women requested improvements in security (51%), microcredit opportunities (30%), and vocational skills training so they can access economic opportunities (27%).
Americans would be well served by Federal support for e-learning of job skills training that enables convenient access at a place and time of the learner's choosing.
