Movement skill difficulties often reported are impaired timing [ 12], impaired hand dexterity/fine motor coordination [ 13], "motor overflow" and neurological soft signs [ 10, 14, 15].
Individual factors include age, gender, psychological and physical vulnerability [ 7], comorbidity with other disorders [ 8], emotional disturbance, impaired sociability, low self-esteem and social skill difficulties [ 9, 10].
Subject 6, who had PDD-NOS and coordination issues, inherited the deletion from a mother with a history of language delay and social skill difficulties.
