To rule out the influence of surface morphology, the indentation depth should be much greater than the characteristic size of surface roughness and a reasonable indenter size should be chosen.
So, the mass flow rate was lower with increasing size of surface roughness elements.
In a pressure-driven flow system, Wang et al. [22] demonstrated that the Poiseuille number increased with increasing size of the roughness elements, while the mass flow rate can be seen to decrease with the increasing Poiseuille number [51].
In the present experiments, we observed the nonuniform variation of size, roughness, and density of dots as a function of ion fluence as shown in Table 1.
