In March, the New York State Environmental Conservation Department, prodded by Oyster Bay, listed the 1.7-acre Mill Neck Marina property as a state Superfund site because of soil and groundwater contaminants like copper, mercury, arsenic, zinc, lead and organic compounds, associated with activities like scraping and painting hulls.
