Hydrogen sintering and phase transformation (HSPT) is a press and sinter process used to produce titanium alloys with engineered microstructures in the as-sintered state.
The concentration of some heavy metals, especially zinc, in the collected dust is usually higher than the maximum tolerable concentration for recycling to the sinter process.
