The significance of these two haplotypes, however, was mainly contributed by single SNPs showing strong associations in single-point analyses.
Twenty-one SNPs in the NELL1 gene yielded a p-value<0.05 in the single-point analyses of panel B (12 in panel D), of which several markers were significant in both, the TDT and case-control test.
