A simple procedure to quantify the rates of carbon monoxide (CO) desorption from, and simultaneous rearrangement on, supported platinum fuel cell electrode (Pt on Vulcan XC-72R) is reported.
The DNA from cancer tissues of one patient with a kidney tumor had a simultaneous rearrangement of hTERT-VNTR6-1st and 6-2nd [ 6, 7], an observation that suggests that chromosomal rearrangements involving these VNTRs may be associated with the activation of telomerase expression in cancer.
Rearrangements of a single gene were more frequent than simultaneous multigene rearrangements (i.e., more than two genes involved; i.e., genes no. 5, 7, 10, and 14).
One FVPTC exhibited simultaneous ras mutation and ret/PTC1 rearrangement, and one CPTC harbored simultaneous BRAF mutation and ret/PTC3 rearrangement.

The structure of both PCNA molecules changes at high temperatures, but in a complex way, possibly due to simultaneous secondary, tertiary and quaternary structure rearrangements (Fig. S5 and S6).

More recently, innovative approaches have been developed that allow the simultaneous, rapid and accurate detection of both micro and macro-rearrangements in genes responsible for hereditary cancers.
