Because we found some significant correlations between alpha asymmetry at frontal, central, and posterior electrode sites, we repeated the analyses (with donation as a dependent variable) described above under "Simple effect" and "Moderation" twice, once with central and once with posterior alpha asymmetry replacing frontal alpha asymmetry.

The models included numerous simple effects and some interactions (see Table 5 for the complete models).
I spent some time playing around with Live Photo editing tools and was impressed by what you're able to do here with a number of filters, simple effects and a timeline.
We thus considered all possible models with simple effects and ordered them using AIC (e.g. [ 63]).
Both the final models included interaction terms involving group so we looked at the corresponding simple effects and presented these as the final results from the models.
Thus, in the end, nine studies were included, seven of which provided effect sizes for the main effects of threat and efficacy, the interaction between those two, and the resulting simple effects; and two of which only provided effect sizes for the main effects (see Table 1).
Okada et al. (2010) did not test for interactions between intelligibility and spectral detail, present the conjunction null of the simple effects, and conduct univariate ROI analyses to differentiate the response within the anterior and posterior regions or plot data from peak level voxels.
Subsequent simple effect analysis and examination of the scores and effect sizes indicated that group differences in memory increment from Trial 1 to Trial 3 was greater on the PALT compared to that on the AVLT.
If a significant interaction existed (P ≤ 0.05), pairwise comparisons on the individual group means within each simple effect were conducted and means were separated using the Bonferroni adjusted α-level (P ≤ 0.05).
We found that the difference in allele frequency at the PHYC locus (Fig. 5B) exceeded the simple effect of drift and sampling based on empirical (P<0.02) or model-based distribution of differentiation (p<0.001).
MS had no effect on religiosity, F 1, 94) = .00, ns, and both the interaction and simple effect on Behe-IDT held controlling for religiosity, F 1, 92) = 4.45, p<.05, and F 1, 93) = 2.95, p<.05 one-tailed.
