Another well-established trend is that short-form drama (Barracuda, Secret Daughter) is the standard now, with long-form series almost completely disappearing– except of course for the long-established shows Home and Away and Neighbours.
The new series's scope is broad enough to tackle "National Lampoon's Animal House," quiz shows, "Home on the Range," recliner chairs and the word O.K. It's hard not to see some of these series as hands extended to particular audiences.
"Home sales are leveling at historically high levels, and examination of data within the quarter shows home prices stabilizing toward the end," David Lereah, the group's chief economist, said in a statement.
As DVD recorders continue to muscle in on turf long held by analog videocassette recorders, Panasonic is promoting a new model that offers several ways to snag, store, transport and play back your favorite television shows, home videos or photos.
That shows home values tumbling for the past 18 months.
Most importantly, it shows home automation has relevance that goes beyond convenience or wow factor.
