In rank abundance curves, wider span of curves reveals higher relative abundance of species in horizontal direction and the smoothness of curves showed the evenness of bacterial species in samples vertically.
A study on Quercus leucotrichophora forest in the Garhwal Himalaya likewise showed lower evenness of herb species under undisturbed forest than under highly-disturbed forest (Uniyal et al. 2010).
