Television producer Lorimar and syndicated TV show distributor Telepictures Corp., two prosperous and acquisition-minded entertainment firms, agreed in principle Monday to merge and operate as Lorimar-Telepictures. Lorimar shareholders would receive 2.2 shares of Telepictures common stock for each Lorimar share that they now own.
Other reports showed distributors raised inventories and small businesses lost confidence.
The data shows distributors have cut methane emissions by 74% since 1990.

The tryout was arranged after Warner Brothers, the talk show's distributor, could not line up enough stations to carry the show in fall 2012.
The deal comes one month after the Weinstein Company, the show's distributor, said it was moving "Runway" from Bravo, an NBC subsidiary, to another cable channel, Lifetime.
