Four transfer RNAs of Nymphon gracile show derivations from the usual cloverleaf secondary structure (truncation or loss of an arm).
Such aberrant secondary structures are often found in metazoan mitochondrial tRNAs, some taxa even show derivations in the majority of their tRNA genes (e.g. some nematodes [ 20], or web spiders [ 21, 22]).
The remaining four show derivations from the typical cloverleaf structure: the DHU stem and loop is extremely short or missing in trnA, trnN and trnS1, while it is definitely missing in trnR (putative secondary structures are shown in Fig. 2).
A companion paper shows derivations of analytical equations to predict composite behaviors of the HFRP-UHPFRC girders with varying levels of interaction at the slab/girder interface.
Felleki and Lundeheim [ 20] showed derivations to estimate the heritability of environmental variance.

It can be shown (derivation not given) that, under Hardy Weinberg Equilibrium (HWE) and random mating, the relative weights for these two possibilities correspond to the allele frequencies (A1, A2 = 1− A1) of alleles "1" and "2," respectively.
Although Weinberg et al. [1998] and Weinberg [1999b] appear to be modeling imprinting in rather diferent ways, it can be shown (derivation not given) that the Weinberg [1999b] parameterization corresponds precisely to the earlier Weinberg et al. All measurements data are expressed as mean ± SD to show maximal derivations, unless otherwise specified.
Calculated lattice parameters of Ti1 − xTMxN as a function of alloying concentration show positive derivations from the linearized Vegard's law, agreeing well with experimental and theoretical results.
