EBF in aphids has been found to serve as a short-range (due to high reactivity with ozone) attractant to a wide range of natural enemies, including both predators and parasitoids (rev. [ 38]).
We removed the 0-80 range, due to the uncertainties involved in Blast analyses of shorter fragments against genomes, and the > 480 range, due to the small number of 454 reads of that length.
