NMR studies have shown that the oxidized and reduced states of ERp18 have chemical shift differences between residues in and around the active-site disulfide, consistent with different conformational states [ 40].

For LiF in the LiCoO2 electrode, not only the apparent chemical shift differences from those of pure LiF (ca. −1 ppm, −203 ppm), but also the significant reduction of the spin-lattice relaxation times (T1 and T1ρ) were observed.
Since the 19F spin was located neighboring to the active hydroxyl group, phosphorylation of the tyrosine immediately resulted in 19F chemical shift differences (i.e. −134.54 ppm for dephosporylated tyrosine and −122.30 ppm for phosphorylated tyrosine) (Li et al., 2013).

Likewise, SHIFT differences exist, which could depend on the nature of the input material received (no data available on that variable), or personnel skill, or again how the operators treat the plant.
We then titrated these peptides against a 15N-labeled CypA sample, and derived from the chemical shift differences a dissociation constant (Figure 7A D).
To identify the interaction surface, residues with significant chemical shift differences (CSD >0.05 ppm) (Figure 2B) were mapped onto the three-dimensional structure of NPHP1-SH3 (1S1N).
