It's a fun thing to share -- singing random carols in our haphazard family choir.
For several years while in high school, I organized a group of volunteers to sing holiday carols, share homemade goodies, and pass out personalized gifts to the seniors based on their wish lists.
Pictures of the programme from Joy to the World 2016, one of Sri Lanka's largest carol services, were shared widely across social media over the Christmas weekend.

By Sunday, the Christmas singing will reach a fever pitch — they'll be packing the streets of Fells Point in Baltimore in the annual caroling extravaganza; sharing every word of "Messiah" at the Kennedy Center's hugely popular annual singalong; participating right along with the movie "White Christmas" and thousands of audience members at Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles.
What once was a season of sharing love, cookies and carols has morphed into one where the gifts take precedence and the search for said gifts leaves people disgruntled, pushy and down right rude.
And skip the light-up caroling footwear...save your money and buy a share of your favorite sneaker company instead.
A St. Lucian woman will later share with me that in Choiseul, neighbors will sing door-to-door carols during Christmas time.
