In the spleen, Th17 cells were also found in greater numbers (Fig. 2L) and the number of Th17 cells correlated positively with the severity of disease (Supporting Information Fig. 1F G).
We reach a 78%% weaning from ECMO (2016 ELSO registry 66%%) with main result of 5 patients without transfusion and a median rate of PRBC transfusion of 125 ml/day of ECMO support that is higher than reports that use lower Hb trigger, but probably are quite restrictive considering the severity of patients supported.
