The BCHP systems for four building categories (Hotel, Office, Hospital and School) in five climate zones (Severe Cold Zone, Cold Zone, Hot Summer and Cold Winter Zone, Mild Zone and Hot Summer and Warm Winter Zone) in China are compared and evaluated from energetic, economic and environmental aspects.
The design approach is further extended for application into a broader spectrum of climates across the mainland of China, including the severe cold zone, cold zone, hot summer cold winter zone, temperate zone as well as hot summer warm winter zone.
These buildings are designed for the two most severe seismic zones in India (i.e., zone IV and zone V) following the provisions of Indian Standards.
Similarly designed projects in other countries include the O-14 office tower in Dubai, done for his firm Ysrael A. Seinuk P.C., and the Chapultepec Tower, an office building in the most severe seismic zone of Mexico City.
