Vector trimming was performed manually and contig assembly was performed using the DNAStar software (low stringency settings, no vector trimming).
However, by extensive testing, it is observed that for many different initial parameter settings and vector generation procedures, the algorithm leads to unique solutions.
Through this part of the AMAS, it is possible to build up mechanisms of fight against malaria vectors by paying attention on natural settings of vectors to destroy them.
It can therefore also be readily applied to settings where vectors are primarily exophagic and even to interventions that act outdoors, such as topical repellents [ 56] or insecticide-treated clothing [ 57, 58].
