The aberration positions of the sample containing fewer aberrations were randomly reordered, matched to a random set of aberration positions of the other sample, and the new number of matching positions (ri) was calculated.
Furthermore, the same measurement procedure can equivalently be used with different signals and/or set of aberration modes, and the analysis of the sources of error would be similar.
In addition, certain sets of aberrations present at diagnosis are expected to be associated with disease recurrence [ 1].
