Training policy-makers in research methods and sensitizing them to the usefulness of research findings in the policy process has been recommended in previous studies [ 18, 23, 24].
Last week, at the urging of Speaker Wilkins, 90 of the 124 members of the House attended a class designed to "sensitize" them on matters of sexual harassment.
