Atopy was defined as sensitization (IgE levels > 0.35 kU/L) to any allergen.
To evaluate the effects of pulmonary GO exposure on adaptive immune responses to OVA sensitization, the levels of total and OVA-specific IgE as well as OVA-specific IgG1 and IgG2a in the serum were assessed.
