The results obtained in this liquid culture-based screen were compared to previous results using an agar-based colony growth screen [ 2]; we found reasonable concordance between the datasets for the sensitive strains, especially for the strains with a sensitivity score higher than 7, the score of rad14Δ (R2 = 0.4).
Gene deletion mutants sgf29Δ, spt3Δ, spt8Δ and hfi1Δ are moderately sensitive (scores 6 7) and ngg1Δ and sgf73Δ display low sensitivity (score 5 and 4).
Here both absolute and relative abnormalities are combined into one single sensitivity score per patient.
