Some of the work presented in this direction is web log analysis [18], matching for social media [19], design and implementation of Genetic Algorithms on Hadoop [20], social data analysis [21, 22], fuzzy rule based classification system [23], log joining [24], online feature selection [25], frequent item sets mining algorithm [26] and compressing semantic web statements [27].
One is the semantic argument.
Their omission-based semantic argument of, "we never, ever said he wasn't there" was met by the family of the victim releasing a second statement simply stating, "To be clear, the victim did not consent.
It's a semantic argument".
Longino's starting point is a version of the underdetermination argument: the semantic gap between statements describing data and statements expressing hypotheses or theories to be confirmed or disconfirmed by that data.
But his error was semantic; the statement was true of the system, if not of the patriotic and capable individuals who served.
In addition to questions that can be generated using phrases in a statement, semantic information related to the issue in a statement can also be exploited to generate semantics-based questions.
This proposal can either be construed as a claim about the semantic content of meaning statements, or as a claim about the typical use of meaning statements.
Table 2 (see Appendix) shows the lexicogrammatical analysis of this second part of the talk (clauses 5 19), and we will use this as the basis for making statements about the semantic choices and the contextual features relevant to this second part.
For general physician attributes five other pairs of statements in a semantic differential format will be used: 1) wants best for patients, 2) patient involvement in decision-making, 3) encourage patients' questions, 4) acknowledging patients' emotions, and 5) caring for patients.
