These previous data, together with the high-throughput advantages highlighted above, indicate that different screens (chemical compounds as well as genetic) using the P.aeruginosa – Arabidopsis seedling interaction system could reveal strong resistance inducing components and compounds.
In contrast, the concentration of P. graminicola PB912 132 DNA inside the rice seedling root system was much lower at 20 hpi.
Our qPCR analysis confirmed that the P. arrhenomanes isolate was the best colonizer of the rice seedling root system, followed by the isolates of P. graminicola and P. inflatum, with the latter barely spreading in the inner tissues.
