Embryogeny and differentiation of fruit was studied from resin-embedded sections of fruits obtained from open pollination (n = 90 fruits, 18 infructescence) and bagging (n = 70 fruits, 33 infructescence).

On third day, non-injected (control) and agroinjected fruits were harvested and transverse sections of the fruit were subjected to GUS histochemical staining as described by Jefferson, [ 40].
