Considering the classification performance on tested cases (presented in section of Parameter evaluation), we choose m=5 for short reads datasets, and m=45 for long reads datasets for the following experiments.
In the section "Results," time-height cross-sections of parameters measured by the MU radar are first analyzed in order to document the conditions met during the UAV/balloon flights.
Those multi level nodes are subject to a further reaction that decreases the state value after every 20 time steps to account for degradation (see Section Choice of parameters).
Specifically, we consider a horizontal cross section of the parameter space in Fig. 2b where a A,2 is fixed and a B,2 varies.
The cellular automaton model yields a different prediction, admitting the exclusion of the pan-sexual type, i.e., the victory of the two mating types on a considerable section of the parameter plane, including the ξ = 0 = φ point and its close (and biologically the most realistic) neighbourhood (cf. Fig. 1).

In the last section, the optimization of parameters σ and B were proposed independently, such as presented by Péguillet et al. [29].
As described in the background section, the set of parameters that correspond to each gene in the decoupled S-system model can be inferred separately.
This value is used for the binding at the initiation site, the rate of demodification and the rate of modification for the acetyltransferase in the first section of the results (parameters kon, kdemodification, and kmodification).
Finally, all the collected data have been remarked and reported in a comprehensive format listing shape of section, parameters studied, and remark of the work has been done by each researcher.
"Optimization of parameters" section obtains the closed-system parameters by PSO algorithm and tests the stability of controller, with the closed parameters, by root-locus method.
