Recall from Section "Mode selection", that we assume that there are at most two links (one cellular and one D2D) multiplexed on a single OFDM resource block.
In Section "Mode selection", the proposed MS algorithm is presented that relies on single cell information and dynamically selects between cellular and D2D communication modes.
