Mr. Fastow engaged in secret transactions that resulted in millions of dollars flowing to him, at times involving money that rightfully belonged to Enron.
The complaint says in part: For almost 10 years, SCB schemed with the Government of Iran and hid from regulators roughly 60,000 secret transactions, involving at least $250 billion and reaping SCB hundreds of millions of dollars in fees.

The regulator said that the branch of the UK-based bank had earned millions of dollars in fees by "conspiring" with the pariah Gulf state in around 60,000 "secret transactions".
He was also the undisclosed owner of AC Financial, a brokerage firm with offices in Palm Harbor, Fla., and Pittsburgh, which he acquired through secret transactions that placed a relative in nominal charge, the complaint said.
