The play, scheduled for Oct. 20, is an adaptation of Henry James's novella, "The Turn of the Screw", written by James Costigan.
The opening show will be a musical called The Pros, the Cons and a Screw, written by local writer Tim Elgood and set in the education block of a maximum-security prison.
They are in a claustrophobic, dark but richly furnished space, and seem to have a knowing gaze; viewers have since been reminded of the doubtful children in James's Turn of the Screw, written more than 15 years after the picture was first shown.

Whoever was tweeting on behalf of Generation Screwed wrote, "Finally, here's the speaker we have all been waiting for...," which seemed kind of disrespectful to the 16 speakers who preceded Ezra but the observation was probably on point given three speakers had specifically shouted him out in the previous 90 minutes.
He felt keenly "the responsibility of not screwing up writing about something so important".
However, someone in the court system screwed up, writing that he would be eligible for parole after seven years.
Think of George's nonplussed response to the death-by-envelope-licking of the fiancée he didn't want to marry, or Larry's screw-up writing an obituary for his wife's aunt that results in her being memorialized as a "Devoted wife and beloved cunt".
In my not very humble opinion, screw whomever wrote the article in the Washington Post, and I mean that in the nicest possible way.
