This contribution presents the modeling and validation results of a CO2 capture pilot absorber operated with monoethanolamine (MEA), as the first step of the in-silico solvent screening framework.
Herein, starting with a brief review of the development of the catalyst screening framework, we use a two-step kinetic model to refine and clarify the origin of the volcano curve with a full analytical analysis by integrating the surface kinetics and the results of first-principles calculations.
County of residence, age group, occupational status, mammographic surveillance, gynaecological prevention consultations and the diagnosis mammography, whether within a screening framework or not, were independent prognostic factors of survival.
The publication topics will be grouped according to the " key criteria" of the population-based screening framework [ 22] as: epidemiology and natural history of DIP, screening practice and rates, acceptability, efficacy and cost (measurement), adequate treatment pathways, systems for follow-up and "other" (including preventive interventions).
Among the 343 women with stage 1 or 2 cancers (T1 N0 M0), 126 (36.7%) had their diagnosis mammography within a screening framework and 217 (63.3%) on clinical symptoms or because of a high risk of breast cancer; 5-year survival for the two groups was 94.4 and 93.1%, respectively; not significantly different.
In particular we estimate that, for orphan receptors with no known ligands, our method reaches a normalized accuracy of 86.2%, 77.6% and 80.5% on the enzymes, GPCR and ion channels, respectively, well above the 50% accuracy of a random predictor that would be trained in a classical ligand-based virtual screening framework with no training example.
Patients who had their diagnosis mammography performed within the screening framework had better survival of 13.3% at 5 years, and 18.6% at 7 years (P<0.001), whereas the others who had mammography after the onset of clinical symptoms, or because they belonged to a high risk group, had an increased death risk hazard of 2.2 (95% CI=[1.5 3.2]; P<0.001).
Among the 253 women under 50 years, 18.2% had their diagnosis mammography within a screening framework and 81.8% on clinical symptoms or because of a high risk of breast cancer; 5-year survival for these two groups was 95.7 and 84.1%, respectively.
However, based on the rationale of EDC-screening frameworks, endeavors aiming at developing target- and pathway-based mechanistic in vitro assays should be encouraged to deliver mechanistic support for the observed metabolic disruption and allow cost- and time-efficient screening and identification of potential IR-inducing pollutants.
Nevertheless, it is clear that such proposals should be subjected to rigorous evaluation using the screening criteria frameworks usually used for screening programme decisions.
As noted elsewhere poor levels of completeness will hamper future analyses of stage registration within the screening programme framework (Green et al, 2007).
