The school, the basic purpose of which is to build ties between the United States and Latin America, has sought to expose Latin American officers and their families to life in the United States, largely by introducing them to civilian families in the surrounding community.
"Because of its focus on improved learning methods, better conditions for children and inclusive nature, the Government of Rwanda adopted the quality standards of Child friendly schools as the basic standards for all schools in Rwanda.
The school offers the basic high school courses, but students spend at least 90 minutes of their day in performing arts classes, producing producing shows in television lab or practicing in the music room, for example.
Other local institutions like schools, mosques, the basic health unit (BHU), vaccinating staff, and even veterinary staff were also providing information about various health-related issues.
"It's people coming through school without the basic literacy skills that they need," Ms. DuPrey said.
The problem, he finds, is that far too few graduate high school with the basic math and science skills that his company needs to compete.
He attended a village school, learned the basic methods of surveying from books he bought himself, and collected the abundant fossils of his native Cotswold hills.
During the presentation, Lisa says that she understands about how desperate the school needs the basic assistance grant money, but also says that the truth is more important, confessing that she cheated.
The survey used a stratified random-cluster sampling procedure with the primary school as the basic sampling unit.
