The phrase "school intake" is a correct and commonly used construction in written English.
It refers to the group of students who are admitted to a particular school at a specific time, usually at the beginning of the academic year. Example: "The school's new intake of students this year is significantly higher than last year's, with over 200 new students joining us." "The school is currently accepting applications for the next intake, so interested parents are encouraged to submit their child's admission forms soon."
