When describing the diverging colour scheme map, many respondents explained that they liked that the contrast made it much easier to "distinguish" and "delineate" the map into discrete "zones" (Figure 12C).
The scheme map of 256 electrodes in Figure 2 shows the areas of interest defined for individual participants and marks locations of the chains of electrodes selected for analysis.

This could drive total final consumption (TFC) of energy, measured in million tonnes of oil equivalent (Mtoe), to rise rapidly from the levels shown by the gradient color scheme mapping levels of current energy consumption in Fig. 2.
