Links between gene clusters with at least three connecting interactions/associations and a z-score (compared to random networks) of at least 2 are shown in Figure 2. Association values were calculated for the functional classification scheme of the String database [18].
In order to construct the protein interaction network related to the 10 diseases, we mapped the disease genes to disease proteins based on the mapping scheme of the Uniprot database.

The TRENCADIS infrastructure takes full advantage of Grid technologies by deploying multi-resource grid services that enable multiple views (reports schemes) of the knowledge database.
They also combine it with a database quality preserving scheme, where each user of the database pays (by adding data or its equivalent in price to the database) so that the quality in terms of power is maintained.
In such an environment, we also expect the system to tolerate discrepancies in users' knowledge of the database scheme and to allow flexibility by not demanding strict schema adherence in user queries.
And yet government presses ahead with the grand scheme of linking database together and allowing access to hundreds of thousands of officials.
