Inclusion criteria were that the questionnaire was a multi-item scale of satisfaction with care during labour and birth, and some form of psychometric information (either information about questionnaire construction, or reliability, or validity) had to be reported.
Studies were included if they reported use of a questionnaire that was a multi-item scale of satisfaction with care during labour and birth, and provided psychometric information (either about questionnaire construction, or reliability, or validity) for the satisfaction measure.
The questionnaire will be prepared according to the following steps: selection of required information and appropriate scales (including the previously developed scale of satisfaction with antidepressant treatment), selection of question type for each variable, code and score definition, question ordering, questionnaire format design and instruction manual preparation.
The unidimensional, general, or global models (Diener, Emmons, Larsen, & Griffin, 1985; Pavot & Diener, 1993; Huebner, 2004) use a single scale to indicate levels of satisfaction with life in general.
