The scaffoldin genes from A. cellulolyticus ATCC 33288 which were manually sequenced [ 17- 19] are ScaA, [GenBank: AF155197]; ScaB, [GenBank: AY221112]; ScaC, [GenBank: AY221113], ScaD, [GenBank: AY221114]).
Also in the phyllosphere, pathogens such as Venturia inaequalis, the causative agent of apple scab [92], the apple blotch fungus Diplocarpon mali (Marssonina coronaria) [93, 94], and many others may be identified by MALDI biotyping and thus facilitate monitoring and studying these diseases.
The most frequent treatment-related AE were local problems at the stimulation site, such as mild or moderate pain, paresthesia, or pruritus during or after stimulation, and erythema, ulcer or scab (31 events in 10 patients in the 1 Hz group, 70 events in 17 patients in the 25 Hz group, p = 0.14).
In each case, the search was initiated with a 60-amino-acid sequence of the R. flavefaciens strain 17 dockerin from Cel44A (formerly known as EndB, Q934F9), ScaA (Q9AE53), ScaB (Q9AE52), Ce3B (Q9RLB8) and Xyn11E (Q9L3K3).
The homologous sca cluster has now been identified in R. flavefaciens FD-1 and shows close alignment in gene order with that in R. flavefaciens 17, although interesting interstrain differences exist in the modular structures of ScaA and ScaB [28].
In the current screen, two alpha integrins, α-PS3 (Scab; EP2591) and α-PS5 (GS12413), were identified that may act with the β-PS integrin Mys.
These results correspond with the findings described by Xu et al. 2003 [ 22], for ScaB [ZP_09464032] and ScaC [ZP_09464031] from A. cellulolyticus, and anticipated by the status of the putative recognition residues.
Interestingly, the NBS-LRRs resistance to apple scab (Rvil5 and Rvi1) and fire blight (FB_MR5) were located in apple-specific or apple/pear-specific duplicate clades (data not shown).
Thaxtomin A (TA) is the main phytotoxin produced by the pathogen Streptomyces scabies, the most important causal agent of potato common scab [ 1, 2].
TNFα is up-regulated in human epithelial cells following exposure to HDM allergens and has also been detected in early stage lesions in sheep scab [ 11, 35].
The figures shown are the means from four experiments for the DS2 cells and three experiments for the DS2-HC-Pro and DS2-ScAb S20 cells.
