A multi-stage sample was used and a total of 2,100 Chinese community health workers from the two cities completed self-administered questionnaire pertaining to job satisfaction indicated by Minnesota Satisfaction Questionnaire (MSQ), demographic characteristic and working situations, stress and job burnout.
The international studies mainly measure variables pertaining to job satisfaction [ 11- 15], in specific sectors of the healthcare field or for particular groups of professionals [ 16- 19].
Within the questionnaire there were 34 oral health related questions pertaining to oral health satisfaction, dental care habits, oral symptoms and disability days [ 1].
The results of the present study showed that 40% of the dyads were satisfied with life as a whole, representing a greater percentage of satisfied dyads compared with the two previous studies pertaining to combined life satisfaction who found 29% [ 20] and 30% satisfied couples [ 19].
The PSQ-An was designed to include domains that capture patients' satisfaction with the treatment itself and to include domains pertaining directly to anemia treatment: patient's general satisfaction with treatment, convenience of treatment for patient and family/friends, patients' pain and discomfort, and financial aspects of treatment for the patient.
