Really aged look: A more aged look can be achieved by using sandpaper.[1] Find sandpaper of about 100 grit or heavier.
After the primer dries, lightly sand it with a fine grit sandpaper (220 grit).
For flat surfaced pieces, use a lower grit sandpaper (60 or 80) to remove any blemishes and scuffs.
