Moreover, past studies have assessed goal progress daily, typically at the end of the day, and none of these studies randomly sampled at the occasion level throughout the day.
During the initial pilot study, the strategy to run patient information, registration, interview, and blood sampling at the same occasion was deemed appropriate for all hospital outpatient diabetes clinics, as shown in Figure 2 in the upper right side.

In the glucocorticoid treated group in our study there was a small, however significant, increase in ALP from sampling at occasion 1 to 2. This increase was probably induced by glucocorticoids, as it was not seen in the untreated group.
The two-phase framework can be applied in missing data problems, sampling at multiple occasions, and situations without a good frame.

For BoCV there were 23, 20 and 21 herds that were negative based on individual samples but positive based on the BTM sample at the same sampling occasions.
